9. Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991) This movie is just straight-up bad. I love Freddy Krueger. He’s one of my favorite characters in any medium. And with that said, I hate this film. The only redeeming quality ofFreddy’s Deadis the return of Robert Englund in the Freddy Krueger role. Everything else about it just terrible. It’s not scary, the writing is trash, and it feels like Rachel Talalay (that’s right, it’s not by Wes Craven) couldn’t figure out a good way to end Freddy’s story....
