The Great Louse Detective (Season 14 Episode 6) In “The Great Louse Detective,” Sideshow Bob is hired to investigate the failed murder of Homer Simpson, parodying Jonathan Demme’s classic filmThe Silence of the Lambs. With Sideshow Bob being an avid singer who would fit better in an opera house than a Springfield prison, we even get one of his little musical treats at the end of this episode. It’s far from the first timeThe Simpsonsmoved the focus of a Sideshow Bob episode away from Bart, but this episode occurs at the tail end ofThe Simpsons’s heyday (in what many consider to be the last season that remains watchable by the skin of the show’s teeth)....

Arrested Development The opening to the acclaimed seriesArrested Developmentchart the show’s premise, literally introducing every main character in the series and who they are in relation to Michael Bluth. Visually, the opening makes the Bluth family appear divided—as the titles keep the characters apart in their presentation—which works well because of the distrust between them throughout. The catchy theme behind Ron Howard’s voice-over gives the show a fun and bouncy introduction that sustains the humor through the rest of the episode, often juxtaposing it with its darker elements....

8.Two Rooms and a Boom Two Rooms and a Boomis an excellent game for large groups—we’re talking ten or more players. Players are given secret identities with one person being the President, one person being the Bomber, and everyone else having roles that are on the same team as either President or Bomber. Players are split between two rooms (yes, two physically different locations with no cross-communication) and every round some players are swapped between rooms....

8.The Amazing Spider-Man 2(2014) It’s unfortunate for Andrew Garfield that his tenure as Spider-Man came to such a “meh” ending. He wasn’t a terrible Spider-Man by any stretch; he just never had the great material that Maguire and Holland were able to work with. The Amazing Spider-Man 2is a mess, evident by its all-time franchise-low box office return and all-time low Rotten Tomatoes score of 51%. The performances are mostly over the top, and director Marc Webb seemed to have lost interest in the material....
