1. The Off-World Colonies For all the talk of off-world colonies inBlade Runner, we’ve never actually seen them—despite two films and an animated TV series. Up until now, theBlade Runnerfranchise has primarily shown its iconic dystopian Los Angeles and never once explored space or the planets that mankind has colonized in their expansion. Blade Runner 2099may represent a chance for fans to finally see what off-world colonies look like in the world ofBlade Runner, to glimpse what Roy Batty spoke about when he talked of the Tanhauser Gate and the shoulder of Orion....

1. It’d Subtly Make Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine Part of MCU Canon The first and most obvious point to make is that Dafne Keen’s role inLoganwas pointedly written to be a continuation of the lineage left behind by Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. This means that if she were to return to the role, she’d bring Hugh Jackman’s legacy with her into the MCU. While we’d never see Jackman himself return as Logan—and, to be honest, there wouldn’t be a good way for him to leave the role again—seeing Laura tear up the MCU with her fierce claws would bring her father’s spirit along with her....

1. Heat Metal Heat Metal sounds pretty straightforward the first time you read it. You can make a metal object glow red-hot. Big deal, right? Well, the thing about Heat Metal is that it can have different effects depending on what you cast it on—and with its 60-foot casting range, you have a lot of options. Cast it on the Big Bad’s wielded sword and they’ll either have to drop the weapon or continue suffering damage every turn....

Asking Dot to “Finger Prince” (Animaniacs) Putting the Warner siblings—Yakko, Wakko, and Dot—in a detective story was bound to rouse chaos, but nothing tops this hilarious moment from the classicAnimaniacsepisode. In “Hercule Yakko,” the siblings search a crime scene for clues. Yakko sets Dot on a quest to “dust for prints” while he interrogates the victims. A brief musical number later, Dot claims she has “found Prince” and holds up an animated rendition of the Purple One....

1. Use Expanded Cross Hotbars If there’s only one tip you take from this, make sure it’s this one. By default, you get eight slots for spells on your Cross Hotbar. You have to hit R1 to cycle through your other bars, and this is woefully inefficient once you get to harder content. But thankfully, there are Expanded Cross Hotbars inFFXIV, and they’re quite easy to use. To enable these, go to Character Configuration, then Hotbar, then Custom....
