What makes this scene so terrifying is that the High Priest resembles a monk with a bald head and wears prayer beads. However, instead of exuding an enlightened tranquility, this monk is pure evil, a dark and ominous being who emits a sinister aura and presence....

12. Chloé Zhao Chloé Zhaomade her mark by representing the forgotten parts of America. InSongs My Brothers Taught Me, she gives an endearing look at Native American life. InThe Rider, a heartbreaking look at poverty. She’s an indie film specialist, oftentimes bringing in first-time actors and giving them liberty to define their down-to-Earth characters. This is most prominent in her Oscar-winning effortNomadland(2020). Nomadlandfollows a woman named Fern (played by Frances McDormand) who, after losing her husband, buys a van to travel cross country in search of work....

12. “Houston, We Have a Problem” (Apollo 13) In Ron Howard’s epic space biopic, we see the story of the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission to the moon, complete with its stellar cast of Tom Hanks, Ed Harris, Kevin Bacon, Gary Sinise, and Bill Paxton. However, the film is best known for that one line uttered by Hanks' Jim Lovell after the explosion aboard the craft, in which he radios back to Mission Control to tell them of the incident....

Ava and her comrades have been put into a cryogenic sleep, but Ava is scheduled to wake up after her crew finishes setting up.
